ENCINITAS CALIFORNIA: "URGENT"

Koa's family lost their house and are living in a hotel right now. They are not able to have Koa at the hotel and have been unable to find housing that will allow a 110 pound dog to live on the property.

Koa is in urgent need of a foster or adoptive home ASAP. Even a temporary foster would help a great deal as the family cannot afford to board him much longer.

Koa is a 5 yo neutered male Anatolian cross. His dad was pure bred Anatolian.
He is good with children, good with other dogs, housebroken, walks on lead and knows basic commands.
Koa is a good boy, not a digger, barker or escape artist.

Please let us know if you might be able to help him.
You can see his Petfinder listing below.

BASTROP TEXAS (AUSTIN AREA): UPDATE: DEUCE IS OUT OF THE SHELTER AND IS SAFE! HE STILL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME BUT HE IS NO LONGER IN DANGER OF BEING PTS

Deuce has been in a shelter for almost a month. The shelter personnel like him so much they've done all they can to hold on to him this long. The shelter is now full to the brim and they have to euthanize to make room.
Deuce's time is up.
We are desperately trying to find a foster or adoptive home for him so we can get him out of the shelter.

Deuce is a sweet and friendly boy. He's a big tail wagger and has a cute doggy smile. He seems to be good with other dogs too.

Please email Tammy if you need more info or might be able to help him. We will do our best to assist w/transports within appx 1000 miles.

SAN BERNADINO CALIFORNIA: URGENT!!ABANDONED ANATOLIAN

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 10: HUSKY IS NOW IN THE SAFETY OF A FOSTER HOME AND IS DOING WELL.

This poor guy was abandoned by his "owners" when their house was foreclosed and they moved away.

Right now the neighbors are feeding and watering him but they can't keep him....and they can't leave him alone in that yard for much longer either.

He is a friendly dog, very sweet. He looks old, sad and dirty. If anyone can help this poor guy---even just short term, a couple of weeks---just so we can get him out of the yard and cleaned up, etc. and we can find a longer term option.

Please email me if you might be able to help!
Thanks
Carleen

Rocky

CHARLESTON WEST VIRGINIA:

Bear, Rocky and Princess were just rescued from a neglectful situation where they were kept in a small, filthy pen and were basically kept alive by the kindness of neighbors that brought over food and water for them.
The trio had been living with their owners small herd of goats until she died recently.
When she died, her husband sold her goats and put the dogs in this small pen and pretty much forgot about them.

They are all in foster care now and we will be neutering the two boys and spaying Princess. Foster mom is getting to know them and evaluating them so they should be ready for adoption soon.

All 3 are friendly dogs. Princess is shy right now so foster mom is working on gaining her trust.

They would do well on a small family farm with goats but are not good with chickens. They will also do well as family companion dogs since they are friendly with people and have nice temperaments. Bear is 3 yrs old and Rocky and Princess are both 18 months old.

They will do best with hotwire on fencing.

***PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE LIMITED TO TRANSPORTS OF APPX 1,000 MILES. WE CANNOT TRANSPORT DOGS FURTHER THAN THAT. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF THAT RADIUS IT WOULD BE UP TO YOU TO ARRANGE TRANSPORT AT YOUR OWN COST.***

For more information on any of these nice dogs, please contact NASRN Rescue Coordinator Lana McCormick homevisit@nasrn.com
