OLATHE KANSAS

ADOPTED!!!

Meet Miss Dafne!
She is a 9 month old spayed female (pure bred) Anatolian Shepherd Dog.
She was dumped in a shelter by her breeder when they didnt want to continue
to pay to feed Dafne and her sister.
So she has had quite a bit of turmoil in her life lately.
She is now in a foster home and is adjusting to being in a new environment.
Dafne is still very skinny, only weighing 70 lbs
but otherwise seems to be healthy.
She is friendly with people and good with other dogs.
No one has worked with her on basic commands yet
but she is a very smart girl and we feel she will flourish in a home
with love, guidance and TLC.

BONIFAY FLORIDA
These two handsome boys were dumped out on a country road.
They faithfully sat in that spot,
day after day,
waiting for their people to come back.
But no one came.
Lucky for them, they ended up with a local rescue group
who took them in, had them neutered
and vetted
and gave them hope that they will both
find loving families that will not abandon them.
Grayson and Whitmon are both very friendly boys
They are good with other dogs
and are well mannered.
They are both in good health and are appx 1 yo or less.
They can be adopted to separate homes,
they do not need to stay together.

For more information, please email Carleen at

BURLESON TEXAS
URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTION NEEDED ASAP
Murray is a young male Anatolian Shepherd pup, appx 7-9 months old
He has apparently been living on his own for quite some time
as he is very dirty and very skinny.
He may be a bit rough on the outside but
he has a heart of gold on the inside.
He is very friendly and still goofy in that puppy-like way.
He seems good with other dogs
and minds well for an Anatolian.
We are desperately seeking either a foster or adoptive home
for Murray
ASAP
We will always do our best to help with transport!!

For more information, please email Janna at

HUNSTVILLE ALABAMA

Rex is a big ol handsome Anatolian Shepherd Dog
who somehow found himself in a kill shelter.
Lucky for him someone stepped up and was able to get him into a no-kill
shelter so he would have time to find a good home.
Rex will be on his way to his new family just as soon as
we can get a transport together for him!

GEMMA NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME!
She has been in a boarding kennel since May and is in desperate need of a foster or adoptive home.
She is sweet and friendly, good with other dogs, house broken
and walks on leash!!
We will help with transport within appx 1,000 miles

BURLESON TEXAS:

URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTION NEEDED ASAP

Gemma is a 5 yo spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Dog who was just pulled off death row in a kill shelter.
She is in temporary boarding right now and is in immediate need of a foster or adoptive home.

We REALLY need to get this girl moved to a foster home so we can start her on the slow kill treatment for heartworm.
Its a very simple thing to do, you just give her one dose a month just like monthly heartworm preventative. NASRN will cover all vet bills.

This is a very sweet, skinny girl who could really use some TLC. Please, please let us know if you might be able to help this poor girl. She has obviously not been well cared for yet she remains friendly and willing to trust humans who have so miserably failed her thus far.

There is one pinto girl.

ALSO IN THE TRI CITY AREA AND UP FOR ADOPTION......
MEET ASIL!
He is a 5 month old male Akbash x Maremma cross boy.  Asil will be a big boy when he is full grown as he already weighs 50 lbs.
He is very true to the flockguardian nature and is going to do best in a country home with someone who is familiar with flockguardian breeds.
He likes to sleep indoors at night with foster mom but also loves to be outside on patrol.
He would do best with another medium to large dog to romp and wrestle with and he would be best paired with a female buddy.

Please email Carleen for more information.

DALLAS/FT. WORTH AREA; FOSTER OR ADOPT NEEDED ASAP

BO IS IN URGENT NEED OF FOSTER OR ADOPTION!!
He was adopted on Saturday but the new owners took him home and immediately put him in the same pen with their geese even though we told them NOT to.  Bo has never been around geese so he figured it would be fun to chase them around.
Long story short, they dont want him and are returning him.
To make matters even worse, his former owners wont take him back either.  So now the only option we have is to put him in a boarding kennel.

We will transport within 1,000 miles to foster or adoptive homes.  There is also a rescue friendly pet transport service that runs every weekend to the Northeast, so that would be an option too!

Bo is a young adult neutered male Anatolian x Labrador cross. Bo weighs about 130 lbs and stands 30 inches at the shoulder.

He is in need of either a foster or adoptive home.

Bo is calm, well mannered and friendly. He is great with kids and other other dogs.

May do best with female dogs.

Bo is housebroken, walks on leash, and is healthy. Did I mention how handsome he is? He truly is a good looking boy and has a great personality to match.

His family was looking more for a Lab than an Anatolian and Bo is more Anatolian than they want.

We will do our best to assist with transport within 1,000 miles.

There is also a pet transport service that runs to the Northeast every week and has discounted rescue rates!!

He will need to be neutered prior to adoption.

Bailey is good with female dogs and is good with small dogs.

NEW MILFORD, PA: 1 Year old NEUT MALE ANATOLIAN (cross?) NEEDS FOSTER OR ADOPT
Paterson is just a pup but he has had a rough life in such a short time. When he was 18 wks old he broke his leg. The owners took him to the vet, who put a cast on but the owners did not follow through with proper care after they brought him home. Paterson ended up back at the vet and the owners decided to just abandon him at that point. While in his foster home it was decided to amputate his leg as there was no chance of recovery for that leg. He is now doing great since his surgery and enjoying life as a 3 legged dog.

Paterson's DOB is June 17, 2009. He weighs appx 80 lbs and is a bit small for his age due to the physical hardships he has suffered in his short life. His owners said he is a "Kangal Dog".
He is friendly with people and seems to be good with children. Just needs to learn some socialization skills in new situations. He needs a foster or adoptive home that will be able to work with him on basic obedience skills.

Please email Allene for more information.
allene@nasrn.com

He very much wants to bond with people and is eager to please.
