ADOPTED!!

Big John is a handsome young male
Anatolian, possibly part Pyrenees, as he has rear double dews

Big John is a good natured, friendly boy.
He seems to be ok around other dogs
and he is friendly with people and easy to handle.

He wandered up to someones farm, either lost or abandoned.
He's pretty skinny so he was probably on his own for awhile.
They are not able to keep him so
he is in need of either a foster or adoptive home.

We will help with transport within appx 1,000 miles
Please email Carleen for more information.

She is a wonderful girl, friendly and cooperative.
She has not shown any dog aggression
and is very gentle and calm with people.

Does anyone have room in their
heart and home for this sweet lady?

ADOPTED!!

"LILY"
Meet Lily
She is a 6 year old pure bred Akbash Dog
which is basically a white Anatolian.

Lily's owner was forced to relinquish her
when he lost his house due to health issues.
So Lily is now looking for a loving home.
. She loves to be brushed and is an excellent watch dog with a big bark.
Even though she has a big bark she is very friendly with people and very gentle.
She gets along well with other dogs as long as they have good doggy manners.
Lily currently lives with a Border Collie mix and a smaller golden retriever, springer spaniel mix that she doesn’t have any issues with.

She also gets along fine with “her” cat but will chase a stray cat off the property.
She will occasionally play with the border collie mix but for the most part
Lily is pretty low energy and seems content to find a place on the property to lay down
and observe comings and goings.
She will do best in a home with carpeted floors and no stairs.

Please email Carleen for more information.nasrn@nasrn.com

RECLAIMED BY OWNER

Zeus' original owner  imported him from
 the Sivas Region of  Turkey
 but when he
moved out west he gave Zeus to "friends".

Those friends were not taking care of Zeus, he wasn't being fed
and was being kept crated in a very small cage.
Luckily for Zeus, someone heard about his plight
and picked him up from this neglectful situation.

Zeus is now in a temporary holding spot and is in need
of either a foster or adoptive home ASAP

Zeus is still skinny, weighing appx 110 pounds
He is friendly with people and good with children.
He is a very sweet dog with people and kids
and would LOVE to be in a real home.
He is in a large kennel right now.
He would need to be the only male dog
but should be ok with female dogs.
We do not know how he is with cats.

Please email Mary for more information.

"AYLA"

4 years ago Ayla was on death row in a Southern CA shelter.
She was scared and didn't "show well"
She didn't stand much chance of being adopted.

Ayla has come a long way since then and is a well adjusted, happy girl,
living the good life now!
The San Fransisco Chronicle recently published Ayla's story
and I wanted to share it with you.
